Pros and Cons of Prints vs Digital Files.
Photographers and photography lovers alike are familiar with the debate between prints and digital files. On one hand, digital technology has made it easy to take, edit, and share photos quickly and inexpensively. On the other hand, prints remain a classic way to commemorate special moments in physical form. Let's explore the pros and cons of each method.
Prints offer a physical representation of the moment, with an ability to reminisce now and in the future. They look great on walls and can be framed, allowing you to truly appreciate your work. The downside to prints is that they can deteriorate over time and require special storage conditions in order to remain in good condition. Digital files offer more flexibility, with the ability to quickly edit through various software and share photos easily online. On the downside, digital photos can get lost if not stored properly or backed up regularly.

Real Estate Checklist
I don't normally do real estate jobs for sales listings, but I wrote up a handy checklist of what needs to be done to get your home ready for your photographer and RE agent, including everything that needs to be cleaned up inside, preparing all the rooms, and the outside too.
On the occasion that I photograph a wedding (or officiate one, I'm an Ordained Minister!), these checklists are super useful for planning, preparing, and getting all your ducks in a row. Even if I'm not the right photographer for you or your needs, you are still welcome to download what I have.
This document includes two wedding day time schedules: one with a "first look" for the wedding couple before the ceremony, and the other without the "first look".
Wedding Photography Timeline Coverages
I like this graph because it shows very clearly what would typically be covered in your photography package based on how much time you hired your photographer. A two-hour package will only cover the very basics, while a ten-hour package will cover just about the entire day.
Wedding Seating Guide
If you need to know the lineup for entering the ceremony, seating arrangements, and who goes first at the end, then this file is perfect for you!
Wedding Photos List
Can't forget the list of photos! This list covers just about everything for your photographer to capture, but there are blanks in case you have something particular in mind to add to it.
Wedding Second Shooters
What is a Second Shooter? Unlike a photographer’s assistant, the wedding photographer that you hire will have a subcontracted photographer taking additional pictures in other locations and from different points of view. Typically called a “second shooter”, they are another experienced photographer who works side by side with the main photographer on your wedding day. They use professional gear so everything is consistent. This file has great information to help you decide if you want or need a second shooter.
An unplugged wedding is where you and your guests unplug from the world, be it your phone, iPad, camera, or any other technology that is around. An unplugged wedding is about enjoying the moment, looking down the aisle to see your friends and family looking back at you, not seeing people who are checking their phones, taking photos, and uploading to Facebook or Instagram in an instant. Just about any photographer you talk to would LOVE it if you went with an unplugged wedding, that way there aren't multiple people in the photographer's way all day long. Trust me!!
Since I'm an Ordained Minister as well as a photographer, I figured I'd create this handy file for you as well. :-) Includes the packages I offer, and some useful information regarding getting married here in New York.
