FAQ and Information
Where are you located, and do you travel?
I'm located in Bergen, in western NY, and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require travel fees, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the cheapest way to travel and I know expenses can add up. I will work with you on what's best.
What do you photograph?
I love to photograph everything! Nature and architecture are my favorite subjects, but I also enjoy animals and pets, vehicles, and anything that is unique, non-traditional, and unusual. It's a fun challenge to come up with and create fantasy photographs as well. Let me know your thoughts!
I also specialize in funeral photography, please see my other website www.NikkiKelloggPhotography.com for more information.
Do you photograph weddings?
I have done weddings in the past for family and friends, but it's not my focus. However, if you have something that's themed, not very "traditional", or pretty unique, I'd love to chat with you.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within about 2-3 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season). You can download the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and order prints!
How many pictures will we receive?
This will depend entirely on the package and type of session that you order. I always go for quality rather than quantity and that's why I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.
Can I preview all my images and choose the ones I want?
I'll pick only the best photos from your session, edit them, and upload the files for you to view (photos like duplicates and triplicates, blurry photos, closed eyes, funny faces, etc are weeded out). You can then select the number of photos that are included in your package, with the option to buy more if you want.
Can you "photoshop" that?
Chances are I can, but I'm not going to. My standard photo editing is cropping and adjusting angles, color correction, adjustments to brightness, shadows, and exposure, and maybe some cosmetic alterations (sky change, something in the way, etc). Additional touch-ups that are requested after delivery are charged per photo.
Why are the high-resolution digitals expensive?
The package you purchase includes low resolution photos, perfect for sharing on social media. Because these files are considered "originals" and it gives you the ability to make unlimited copies and large prints of each image, the cost has to compensate for lost print sales. Prints and canvas wall hangings are available to purchase through this site as well.
Am I allowed to print the photos that you deliver to me?
Absolutely! Even though I hold the copyright to the photos, you will receive a Print Release when ordering for personal use that gives you permission to reproduce the images, which can include books, cards, calendars, invitations, social media, and websites. Artwork can be ordered right from this website!
